“If you asked me what I wanted to be when I was 8 years old, I can recall the feeling of sharing that I want to be a teacher or a superstar so profoundly. I did not know I would get there, but I remember being able to vividly see in my mind what it would be like to stand in front of a class or on a stage and had zero doubt that I will accomplish that vision. Now as an adult I have accomplished that dreamy vision. It is of course not quite what 8-year-old René had in her mind’s eye but it is certainly a pretty great version of what I wanted to become.

Somewhere along the way, I lost the ability to vividly imagine my future and while I do consider myself successful I felt stuck with what is next, uncertain that I can make the next expansion of me happen and the gremlins of self-doubt started to rule my mind. I now realize that is because I have allowed my mind to rule me and pushed by self trusting knowing aside.

Working with Kim was something I knew is a yes, but for me it was hard to say yes to exploring the spiritual side of me as I have ignored that side of me for too long. I have to say that I am grateful that her business background is equally fantastic and she was able to help me reconnect with my own trust, and my own knowing through the lens of business as I was resistant to hear it in a different way.

She has helped me regain confidence, helped me stop questioning myself around every corner, and relearn to trust my own abilities. As a leader in my industry that is huge, because the components are critical whether you lead a team, your family, or yourself. It starts with believing in yourself and detaching from what others think of you. The internal work in the end has been the biggest catalyst to the growth of myself, my team, and my business.

Kim has helped me see myself again.
